What you’ll be doing
This role will be responsible for supporting the development and evaluation of policies, projects and programs for the Ministry of Health and related agencies to address current and emerging policy issues including supporting the implementation of the Closing the Gap Outcome 2 - children are born healthy and strong and Outcome 4 - children thrive in their early years.
The position will work closely with health service providers, other government agencies, and key stakeholders, with the support of the Principal Policy Officer.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: maternity, child and family health, paediatrics, youth health.
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of advice in a multi-disciplinary or multi-agency workplace.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse stakeholders to deliver on policy and program/project areas.
