About Knoxbrooke Nursery
Knoxbrooke is a for-purpose NDIS service provider that creates employment, development and support opportunities for people with disability. We operate a leading wholesale plant nursery located in beautiful Mount Evelyn, Victoria. Producing a broad range of plants across our 2 sites, we have a variety of customers across South Eastern Australia including retailers, landscapers and construction firms.

About the role
Knoxbrooke Nursery employs more than 70 people with disability (Supported Employees). Our Employment Support team works alongside Supported Employees to help them get the most out of their roles, build new skills and achieve their employment goals.
We're looking for a permanent, full time Employment Support Officer + Administration Support who enjoys combining hands-on training and coaching to Supported Employees across both nursery sites, while also assisting with administrative and communications tasks. This varied role offers the opportunity to make a visible difference every day while helping essential nursery and employment support processes operate smoothly.
You will work collaboratively with Supervisors,
Practice Leaders and the wider Employment Support team to deliver high-quality support and positive employment outcomes.
What you’ll do
You'll balance direct employment support with the administration that keeps our team of Supported Employees connected and running effectively. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Deliver practical training and support to build the confidence, skills and independence of Supported Employees.
- Provide tailored job coaching to support Supported Employees to improve job performance, productivity, engagement and overall job satisfaction.
- Respond promptly to incident and behaviour support assistance when required.
- Maintain accurate records of all training, coaching and support in our Client Management System.
- Assist with the wage assessment process as part of the Supported Wage System (SWS).
- Transport Supported Employees between nursery sites as required.
- Monitor and report daily absences across the nursery.
- Assist with coordination and delivery of work experience programs and work placement for students completing Disability Support studies.
- Assist with finalising fortnightly timesheets using the payroll system.
- Assist supported employees where required, with daily work tasks such as clocking in and submitting leave requests
- Work collaboratively with the Practice Leader and operational Supervisors to ensure Knoxbrooke’s supported employees experience consistent, comprehensive and effective coaching, training, support and daily employment direction.
About you You’ll bring a calm, encouraging, and organised approach, along with confidence to build a positive working relationship across our teams! You will also have:
- A commitment to lead best practice by role modelling and guiding others.
- Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Diploma in Community Services or similar.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience working within the disability services sector and/or providing support to individuals with disability (essential).
- Previous experience working within a Supported Employment environment will be highly regarded.
- Experience working in and office administration role (preferred).
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).
- Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate.
- Current CPR certificate.
- Current valid drivers’ licence.

This position is based in Mount Evelyn and may require travel at times. Kilometre allowance will be compensated for your travels.
