What you’ll do:
We’re looking for a Mechatronics Engineer to join our engineering group at our Hazelmere facility designing and manufacturing bespoke drilling equipment for our contract drilling business.
This diverse role requires a combination of design and hands-on practical skills and you would work with PLCs, HMI’s and various sensors along with embedded computers running linux, networking equipment, IP cameras, and Starlink.
Our drill rigs operate in harsh environments, so all assemblies must be built to high standards of ingress protection, vibration resistance and general robustness.
You will be working alongside a group of mechanical and mechatronics engineers as well the software engineers to design the drill rigs and support equipment. You will also be providing technical support to the manufacturing team, and the contracting business when the equipment reaches the field.
