Environmental Advisor - Build Your Career in Renewable Energy - Regional WA Ready to take your environmental career into the renewable energy sector? Join UGL's renewable energy projects team and put your site-based environmental experience to work on the construction of a major wind farm in regional Western Australia.

You don't need wind farm experience. If you know your way around a project site, enjoy being out in the field and have environmental experience across construction, infrastructure, resources, energy or data centres, this could be a brilliant chance to make the move into renewables.

Why this role

- Build your renewable energy experience on a major wind farm construction project.
- Permanent 10/4 DIDO opportunity, with a strong pipeline of renewable energy projects ahead.
- Be part of an established and supportive HSE team throughout project delivery.
- Enjoy a genuinely hands-on, field-based environmental role working alongside construction teams and subcontractors.
- Take your existing site experience into a growing sector and help deliver positive environmental outcomes on the ground.

About the role As Environmental Advisor, you'll work alongside construction teams and subcontractors to manage environmental risks and compliance across the wind farm project. It's a hands-on role with plenty of time in the field, supporting inspections, monitoring, approvals and incident management.

Key responsibilities

- Support CEMP’s, project controls and compliance requirements in the field.
- Provide practical environmental advice to construction teams and subcontractors.
- Coordinate environmental inspections, monitoring, audits and reporting.
- Support environmental approvals, risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Build environmental awareness across the project and help drive continuous improvement.

About you We're looking for a practical environmental professional who is comfortable putting the boots on and getting out across the work fronts.

- Site-based environmental experience across construction, infrastructure, resources, energy, renewables or data centres.
- Good understanding of environmental approvals, compliance requirements and environmental management plans.
- Experience with site inspections, monitoring and environmental risk management.
- Confident working directly with construction teams, supervisors and subcontractors.
- Practical and proactive, with the confidence to work independently in a busy project environment.

What we offer

- Permanent full-time employment.
- Access to UGL's OneRewards program.
- Discounted Medibank health insurance.
- AIA Vitality wellness program.
- 16 weeks paid primary parental leave.
