The Role We're looking for an experienced Lead ETL Developer to support the sustainment and enhancement of a critical business intelligence and reporting system that supports decision making for senior Defence leadership. You'll be part of a multi-disciplinary team, developing code for data pipeline enhancements, dimensional modelling, ETL testing, script automation and ongoing reporting demand.

You'll need to prioritise work in an environment with competing priorities, applying an understanding of interdependencies and strategic priorities, while continuously looking for ways to improve processes and contribute to timely delivery of outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop code for data pipeline enhancements, dimensional modelling, ETL testing, script automation and code fixes
- Support ongoing demand for business intelligence and reporting outputs
- Prioritise work in an environment with competing priorities, understanding interdependencies and strategic priorities




- Contribute to timely delivery of outcomes while seeking opportunities to improve processes

Required

- Current NV1 security clearance
- 5+ years' experience with ETL development, preferably in a SQL Server environment
- Experience in Defence or another Commonwealth department highly regarded
