Key Responsibilities
Current Business Development
- Identify and secure new business aligned with MCC’s growth targets
- Build a healthy pipeline of high-value, high-margin opportunities
- Lead customer proposals and negotiations, ensuring profitable outcomes
Account Management & Growth
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customer contacts
- Deliver best-in-class service that protects revenue and ensures retention
- Create and execute account plans that drive revenue and margin growth
- Monitor and manage customer stock levels, credit, and cash flow in line with MCC processes
- Conduct regular account reviews and present data-driven insights to clients
- Gather and share market intelligence to inform team strategy and execution
Stakeholder Management
- Build trusted partnerships with both internal teams (Sales Support, Prepress, Production, Logistics, and Management) and external clients to ensure seamless service delivery
- Communicate proactively and clearly to align customer expectations with operational execution
- Collaborate across departments to identify and act on opportunities for margin improvement, cost savings, and process optimisation
- Act as a team player by offering timely support, sharing insights, and contributing to shared goals
- Share knowledge and support team initiatives that enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction
Commercial Performance
- Achieve or exceed sales and margin targets within expense budgets
- Apply commercial acumen in pricing, deal structuring, and profitability analysis
- Drive process improvements that enhance customer value and MCC efficiency
