Experienced Lead Barista

Flour – Caringbah &/or CronullaFull Time / Part Time

Flour is growing and we’re looking for an experienced Lead Barista to join our team across Caringbah and Cronulla.

We’re a busy neighbourhood bakery with a lot of regulars, a fast morning trade and a team that genuinely enjoys what they do. Great coffee is a huge part of Flour, so we’re looking for someone who knows their way around a coffee machine, can handle serious volume and still have a laugh with the person standing on the other side of the counter.

What the role looks like

- Making consistently great coffee, even when the docket rail is full
- Dialling in, adjusting grind and keeping coffee quality where it needs to be throughout the day
- Working with our house blend and rotating single origins for espresso and filter
- Working quickly and cleanly through busy service
- Helping set the standard for coffee across the team
- Supporting and developing other baristas
- Getting to know our regulars and making new customers feel like regulars
- Keeping the coffee bar organised, stocked and running smoothly
- Looking after equipment and maintaining strong cleaning standards
- Working closely with FOH and kitchen teams to keep service moving

What we’re looking for





- At least 2 years' experience in a busy, high-volume coffee workplace
- Strong espresso, milk texturing and coffee knowledge
- Confidence working independently on the machine during busy periods
- Someone fast, organised and calm when things get hectic
- A friendly, outgoing personality and excellent customer service
- Someone reliable who turns up, gets stuck in and supports the team
- Leadership experience is a bonus, but attitude and coffee skills matter most
