About The Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support that promotes independence, dignity, confidence, and quality of life. We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, respectful, and proactive Female Disability Support Worker to support a client located in Rochester, VIC.

The successful applicant will be someone who is comfortable providing practical day-to-day assistance, can work independently, and can build a professional, respectful, and trusting relationship with the client.

Shift Details

Location: Rochester, VIC

Employment Type: Casual

Roster: 10 - 12hours shifts per week

Duties may Include (but not limited to)

- Assisting client with their daily routines,



which may include personal hygiene and other personal care needs.
- Assisting with shopping, errands, and other community-based tasks.
- Supporting the client to access the community and participate in day-to-day activities as required.
- Completing other reasonable duties as requested by the client and in accordance with their individual support plan.

About You We are looking for someone who:

- Has experience working as a Disability Support Worker, Personal Care Worker, Aged Care Worker, or in a similar support role.
- Is comfortable providing assistance with personal care and daily living activities.
- Is reliable, responsible, and able to commit to assigned shifts.
- Is comfortable assisting with household tasks, laundry, meal preparation, and general cleaning.
- Is willing and able to assist with shopping and community-based activities.




- Is respectful of the client’s privacy, dignity, preferences, and independence.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is calm, patient, compassionate, and professional.
- Can work independently while also following support plans and workplace procedures.
- Can build a positive, professional, and trusting relationship with the client.
- Holds or is willing to obtain the required NDIS screening and compliance checks.
- Holds current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Has a current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle, where required for the role.
- Is available to work for 10 - 12hours per week.

Essential Requirements

- Qualification in Individualised Support or similar.
- NDIS Worker Screening check required.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Working with Children Check.
- NDIS orientation and induction modules.
- Infection Control.
- Current PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Training Certificate.
- Valid Australian Driver License.
- Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance.
- Must Have Right To Work In Australia.
- Reliable car.
