Summary:
We are seeking a Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- General building maintenance and handyman repairs
- Preventative maintenance and routine property inspections
- Basic carpentry, repairs and minor building works
- Setting up and packing down for school events and functions
- Coordinating contractors and monitoring works on site
- Maintaining a safe, clean and well-presented environment
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements
Qualifications:
- Previous Facility Management experience in school sector
- Good communication and time management skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Reliable, dedicated, and passionate in promoting a positive work culture.
- An ability to lead, motivate, and influence your staff members to deliver excellent results.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills.
