About the role

Urban Lighting Group is seeking a Factory Hand/Welder to join our Penrith team on an immediate start basis. This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity working Monday to Friday day shift. You will be part of a growing team in our manufacturing facility, supporting the design, fabrication and supply of premium pole, column and lighting infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

- Welding

- Operating small machinery and power tools safely

- Assembling, packing and preparing orders for dispatch

- Loading and unloading deliveries (forklift operation if licensed)

- Keeping the work area clean, safe and organised

- Following all workplace health and safety procedures

About you

- Welding experience (preferred), or a strong willingness to learn

- Experience with small machinery and power tools

- Attention to detail and pride in quality work

- Positive, self-motivated and hard-working attitude

- Able to work well in a team and in a fast-paced environment





- Basic understanding of safety requirements in a manufacturing setting

- Good command of English, both written and spoken

- Forklift licence (preferred, not essential)

- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

- Reliable transport to get to Penrith for day shift

- Full Australian working rights

- Available for full-time hours and able to start immediately
