The Trustee for LOTUS PARK TRUST Position Title: Feed Mill Plant Specialist (Full time) Employer: Lotus Park Grazing Company Pty Ltd Location : Lotus Creek, Queensland 4705 Salary: AUD $80,000 per annum superannuation Lotus Park Grazing Company is seeking an experienced Feed Mill Plant Specialist to support the operation, maintenance and optimisation of our feed mill facility at our Lotus Creek cattle and feedlot operation.

About the Position The Feed Mill Plant Specialist is responsible for advanced operational and technical operation, maintenance, and quality control of the Lotus Park feed milling facility. This role combines knowledge with the practical operation of mill machinery to ensure the production of precise, high-quality livestock nutrition that meets Australian standards.

Key duties include: Technical Mill Operation: Operate high-capacity feed mill equipment to manufacture specialised cattle rations, using automated software to monitor mixing and batching precision. Machinery & Infrastructure Maintenance: Perform technical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on complex mill machinery and farm infrastructure to ensure zero operational downtime.

Quality

Assurance (QA) & Safety: Implement and monitor strict QA, safety, and hygiene standards to ensure the plant operates in accordance with biosecurity and health regulations.

Livestock Welfare Support:



Monitor the technical quality and consistency of feed output to support optimal cattle health and welfare outcomes when required.

Process Oversight: Utilise electrical principles to supervise the plant’s electrical systems, ensuring all automated processes function safely and efficiently.

Specialized

Logistics & Distribution: Coordinate and execute feed distribution using specialised plant equipment to ensure accurate and timely ration delivery.

Skills and Experience The successful applicant will have: Education: Bachelor’s in electrical engineering or relevant field.

Industry Experience: Extensive experience in the maintenance and production engineering of industrial feed mills, including the operation of pellet mills, grinders, and extruders.

Technical Systems: Proven ability to manage complex batching software (e.g., WinCos) and plant-related technical documentation.
