Additional information:

- This role is permanent, part-time 40 hours/fortnight role.
- The internal job title for this role is IKEA Food Co-worker
- As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of hours. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
- You will need to be able to start at 6am on delivery days which are Tuesday, Thursday & Fridays
- Ability to lift to 15kg, repetitively, and use of mechanical aids such as a Pallet Jack.

About this work area

As an IKEA Food Goods Receiver your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised
- Follow IKEA rules and Guidelines with Goods receiving
- Cleaning and organise storage areas ready for delivery’s
- Deep cleaning of storage areas – walk in fridges and freezers
- Small amount of administrative work using a digital tool for receiving orders and pallet returns

Who you are

As an IKEA Food Goods Receiver you have:

- Experienced with working in an extremely fast paced, hands-on environment. Previous hospitality experience is highly regarded.
- Enthusiastic about working within a team of like-minded people.
- Able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks.
