We are looking for a responsible, reliable and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our Chadstone store. This is not a sales-only position. You will support the complete day-to-day operation of the store, including customer service, product demonstrations, sales, POS transactions, stock management, visual merchandising, store presentation, after-sales service and opening or closing duties when required. The right person will take ownership of their work, notice what needs to be done and act without waiting to be reminded. Every team member is expected to contribute to keeping the store professional, organised and ready for customers.

Key responsibilities

Welcome customers and understand their needs through thoughtful questions

Recommend suitable products based on the customer's lifestyle, devices and intended use

Clearly explain product features, benefits, compatibility and differences between models

Support customers with product setup, troubleshooting and basic technical enquiries

Work towards individual and store sales targets without compromising the customer experience

Process sales, refunds and exchanges accurately through Shopify POS

Receive, unpack, label and organise incoming stock

Replenish shelves and displays throughout the day

Keep the store, displays, counters and customer areas clean and presentable

Strong communication and customer-service skills

Confidence explaining and demonstrating products

Attention to detail when handling payments, stock and store records

Availability to work across weekdays, evenings, weekends and public holidays according to the roster
