The Plant Management Company – Brisbane QLDThe Plant Management Company is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Interiors Gardener to join our team on a permanent basis.
Based in the CBD, this role offers full-time work whilst contributing to the creation, maintenance and care of green walls, hanging planters and potted greenery found in corporate foyers and offices throughout the CBD.
As an interior's gardener you will be responsible for bringing greenery and life to commercial interior spaces, ensuring plants thrive in controlled indoor environments, maintaining the aesthetic appeal and air quality of our clients' properties whilst promoting a connection to nature within indoor settings.Key responsibilitiesPlanting, nurturing and maintaining indoor plant installations in commercial and residential propertiesSelecting appropriate plant species suited to interior lighting conditions, humidity levels and client preferencesProviding regular watering, feeding and pruning of interior plants to ensure optimal health and appearanceDiagnosing and treating plant diseases, pests and other health issues in indoor environmentsArranging and styling plants to create visually appealing interior displays and green spacesMonitoring soil conditions and adjusting care routines based on seasonal changes and plant requirementsTransporting plants and equipment safely to client locationsCommunicating with clients regarding plant care recommendations and maintenance schedulesMaintaining accurate records of plant installations and maintenance activitiesKeeping work areas clean and equipment properly maintainedWork a 38-hour week with early starts and finishesWhat we're looking forProven experience working as a gardener or horticulturist, with specific experience in indoor plant care and maintenanceStrong knowledge of interior plant species,



their growing requirements and suitability for various indoor environmentsUnderstanding of plant health management, pest control and disease prevention in indoor settingsPractical skills in planting, pruning, propagation and plant stylingAbility to work independently and as part of a team and manage time effectively across multiple client propertiesPhysical fitness and the capability to lift and carry plants, soil and gardening equipmentExcellent attention to detail and strong communication skillsReliability and flexibility with scheduling to accommodate all of our work arrangementsA genuine passion for plants and indoor horticultureRelevant qualifications or certifications in horticulture or landscaping are desirableCar license is essential for the roleClean police check required due to strict security requirements at some client sitesAbout usThe Plant Management Company is a dedicated provider of premium plant solutions for commercial and residential interiors across Brisbane and the surrounding region.
