Overview
CSL Australia is currently looking for a permanent full time Second Engineer to join our cement carrier Goliath on a roster schedule 6 weeks on and 6 weeks off.
This operation is based in the Bass Strait.
Reporting to the First Engineer, the Second Engineer
is responsible for
the maintenance of the main engine auxiliary engines.

How will you contribute to our success?

be responsible for

The safe operation of the main engine
in accordance with
Class and Standing
Orders;
Safe operation of the boiler
in accordance with
Class and Standing
Orders;
Performing day work in conjunction with a rotating
24 hour
system of Gear
Turn;
Any other duties as

The skills you will bring to our team
Basic Requirements
Educational requirement: as per AMSA Marine Order 72 – Engineer Class 2 (
required)
AMSA Engineer (Class 2) CoC/
CoR
Unlimited
Minimum 3 years sea time as an Engine Watchkeeper(
required)
Certificate of Safety Training (STCW)
(desirable)
Work Safely at Heights Certification
(desirable)
Enter and Work in Confined Space Certification
(desirable)
