This is a hands-on role with a mix of field service and workshop work. One day you might be diagnosing a fault on a customer's site; the next you could be servicing or repairing a different type of machine at the branch. You'll have room to work independently, with a local team behind you.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
- Service and maintain a broad range of hire equipment.
- Attend customer sites for breakdowns and planned maintenance.
- Carry out preventative maintenance to keep equipment reliable and ready for hire.
- Source parts and maintain accurate service records.
- Work with the branch team and customers to resolve equipment issues safely and efficiently.
About you
- A relevant mechanical trade qualification.
- Practical experience diagnosing and repairing equipment.
- The ability to manage your work and communicate well with customers and the branch team.
- A current driver's licence.
- A commitment to protected, quality work.
