CMTL Group is seeking experienced Intermediate and Advanced Riggers for an upcoming major CHPP shutdown in Queensland's Bowen Basin.
This is approximately 4–5 weeks of shutdown work, with mobilisation commencing between 27–29 October 2026 and work expected to continue through to approximately 15 December 2026.
The Role
- Intermediate (RI) and Advanced (RA) Riggers
- CHPP / fixed plant shutdown environment
- 5/2 roster
- Monday–Friday
- 4 x 12-hour shifts + 1 x 10-hour shift
- Primarily dayshift
- Potential nightshift opportunities during the first and final stages of the shutdown
- Accommodation provided Sunday through Thursday night
- Point of Hire: Anywhere in Queensland
Requirements
Applicants must hold
- Current Intermediate (RI) or Advanced (RA) Rigging HRWL
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Standard 11 / relevant coal mine induction
- Working at Heights
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Previous mining,
CHPP, fixed plant or shutdown rigging experience
- Ability to commit to the required shutdown dates
