Where you’ll add value
As Finance Systems Manager, you'll be responsible for the systems and governance capabilities that support Finance, Treasury and Balance Sheet Management. Your focus will be on ensuring the Finance division has access to reliable, well-governed data and fit-for-purpose systems that enable accurate reporting, effective planning and informed decision-making.
The role also plays a key part in the organisation's merger integration activities. You'll help ensure Finance systems and data are prepared for Day 1 readiness while supporting longer-term integration outcomes across the merged entity.
This is an opportunity to influence how Finance operates into the future. You'll lead system optimisation initiatives, drive automation, improve reporting capability and champion modern data practices across the function.
Working as part of an inclusive and collaborative team your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the roadmap for Finance, Treasury and Balance Sheet Management systems and data capabilities.
- Own core Finance platforms and ensure they remain fit for purpose and aligned to business requirements.
- Lead finance system upgrades, enhancements, vendor selection activities and implementation projects.
- Strengthen data governance practices across Finance and improve data quality and auditability.
- Support the delivery of high-quality financial and management reporting through improved data structures and reporting tools.
- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve controls.
- Act as the key link between Finance and Data teams, helping shape data capabilities across the division.
- Support Finance data and systems readiness activities associated with merger integration and future-state operating models.
- Manage Finance system risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
