About the role

Silver Yachts Australia is seeking an experienced Fit out Draftsperson / Designer to join our team in Bibra Lake.

We are looking for someone with strong, practical experience using both Rhino 3D and AutoCAD 2D and 3D, as these are essential to our current design and drafting workflow. You will need to confidently develop detailed 3D models, 2D drawings and production documentation for luxury yacht interior fit outs.

This is a hands-on design and drafting role within our specialised manufacturing environment. You will work closely with our Design and Production teams to develop accurate, practical and manufacture-ready solutions for high-end yacht interiors.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop detailed 3D models and production drawings using Rhino 3D for cabinetry, joinery and luxury yacht interior fit outs.
- Prepare accurate 2D manufacturing and installation drawings using Rhino 3D and AutoCAD 2D and 3D.
- Develop detailed construction and manufacturing solutions from design concepts and specifications.
- Prepare cut parts, CNC drawings and nesting as required for production.
- Interpret design and technical drawings and translate them into practical manufacturing details.
- Work closely with the Design and Production teams to resolve technical and manufacturing issues.
- Review and update drawings to reflect design changes and production requirements.
- Assist with design development, presentation and visual documentation using Photoshop.
- Ensure all drawings and models are accurate, detailed and suitable for manufacture and installation.
- Liaise with the workshop and production team to ensure designs can be efficiently manufactured and installed.

About You We are specifically looking for someone with proven,



hands-on experience in BOTH Rhino 3D and AutoCAD 2D and 3D. Both programs are essential to our current workflow, and the successful candidate must be confident using both independently.

ESSENTIAL SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE: Rhino 3D AND AutoCAD To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Strong and demonstrated experience using Rhino 3D – this is essential.
- Strong AutoCAD 2D and 3D skills.
- Experience producing detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings.
- Experience in technical drafting, joinery, cabinetry or interior fit-out.
- Excellent understanding of how designs translate into manufacturing and installation.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and develop practical solutions.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work closely with designers, production staff and trades.
- Experience with CNC manufacturing, cabinetry or joinery will be highly regarded.
- Experience in the marine, yacht, architectural, interior or high-end manufacturing industries will be advantageous.
