We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Fitter / Water Truck Operator to join our Exploration & Ancillary Operations team at Pajingo.

This unique dual-purpose role requires a hands-on individual who is equally comfortable carrying out mechanical maintenance and supporting site operations through water truck activities. Working on a 5/2, 4/3 days-only roster, you'll play a key role in keeping our equipment and operations running safely and efficiently.

About the Role

Reporting to the Supervisor, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and repair of exploration and ancillary equipment while also operating water trucks and supporting day-to-day site activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on mobile plant and equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Complete preventative maintenance activities
- Operate water trucks in accordance with site requirements
- Conduct pre-start inspections and equipment checks
- Maintain accurate maintenance and operational records
- Support safe and efficient site operations
- Adhere to all health, safety and environmental requirements

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Relevant trade qualification in a mechanical discipline
- Experience working on mobile plant, mining or heavy earthmoving equipment
- Previous water truck operating experience (highly regarded)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Current driver's licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
