About the role:

Our client, who is large national retial business located in Sydney's CBD is in need of an Fixed Assets Officer to join their team on a four-six month contract. The role will focus on capex processing and they are looking for someone with experience in this space.

Key responsibilities:

You will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

- Work through a backlog of fixed asset capitalisation
- Review invoices and project costs to determine what should be capitalised and the appropriate asset type/class.
- Follow up with internal stakeholders where invoice details are unclear.
- Capitalise assets in Great Plains (ERP), including the relevant coding and asset details.
- Ensure assets are accurately recorded in the Fixed Asset Register and ready for depreciation.





The successful applicant will have:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with local hands-on capex processing
- Intermediate excel skills
- At least 2 years experience in a similar role
