Now trading as Country Blinds & Flooring, we are seeking a knowledgeable and capable Flooring Division Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our flooring division.
Position Summary The Flooring Coordinator is responsible for the successful delivery of all flooring installation projects from the point materials are ordered through to final installation and customer satisfaction.
This role manages the day-to-day operations of the Flooring Division by coordinating internal installers, subcontractors, materials, scheduling and customer communication to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time and to the company's quality standards.
The role acts as the central point between Procurement, Scheduling, Sales, Installers and Customers to ensure every flooring project progresses smoothly and any issues are resolved quickly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Installation Operations
Manage the daily activities of all in-house flooring installers.
Coordinate and oversee subcontract flooring installers.
Ensure installers have the information, materials and equipment required for each installation.
Project Management
Oversee flooring projects from commencement through to completion.
Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks or delays.
Coordinate with the Scheduling Team to maintain installation lead times.
Ensure subcontractors are booked appropriately and workloads are balanced.
Materials & Procurement
Work closely with Procurement to ensure flooring materials are ordered and received within required timeframes.
Monitor outstanding purchase orders and expected deliveries.
Ensure jobs will be installation-ready before scheduling.
Resolve supplier or stock shortages that may impact project delivery in conjunction with Sales leadership and or Operations.
Customer Management
Act as the primary operational contact for flooring customers by:
Advising customers of scheduling changes.
Managing expectations when delays occur.
Discussing required subfloor preparation.
Quoting and presenting variation pricing where additional works are required.
Resolving installation concerns professionally.
Maintaining regular communication throughout the project lifecycle.
