About the role

We're seeking a warm, polished and adaptable hospitality skilled to join Winnifred's on Arthur. Working across our Bistro, Champagne Bar and private events, you'll play an key role in creating the thoughtful, personal and memorable service that defines the Winnifred's experience. This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative team and takes pride in delivering exceptional service wherever they are needed.

Key responsibilities

- Provide warm, professional and attentive service across the venue.

- Welcome guests, assist with seating and ensure a positive experience throughout their visit.

- Confidently explain menus and make appropriate food, wine, Champagne and beverage recommendations.

- Provide productive table service, including taking orders, delivering food and beverages, clearing and resetting tables.

- Assist with bar service, including preparing and serving beverages in line with venue standards and RSA requirements.

- Support the setup, service and pack-down of private events, functions and special experiences.

- Adapt between restaurant, bar and event duties based on operational requirements and guest demand.

- Prepare and maintain tables, service stations, bar areas and event spaces with all required equipment and supplies.

- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness,



hygiene and organisation across all FOH areas.

- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and professionally to requests.

About you

- Previous experience in customer-facing retail or hospitality, ideally in a wine-focused environment.

- A strong interest in champagne, wine and premium food & beverage experiences.

- Committed to delivering thoughtful and exceptional service.

- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.

- Warm, professional communication skills—both written and verbal.

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, guest-facing workplace.

- Collaborative spirit and team-first mindset.

- Available to work evenings and weekends as required by the event schedule.

- Certifications: Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), Food Safety Card, and First Aid Certification (desirable).
