The Opportunity This is a rare opportunity for an experienced credit leader to take a principal role with genuine influence across credit risk, transaction structuring, portfolio oversight and governance within an established commercial real estate private credit business.

Working closely with executive leadership and investment stakeholders, you'll act as the independent voice of credit across a diversified commercial real estate debt portfolio spanning construction, development, investment and structured lending.

You’ll have significant influence over credit decisions, portfolio quality and risk strategy, with the opportunity to shape credit appetite, policy and underwriting standards while working alongside experienced lending and investment leaders.

The Role As Head of Credit, you will lead the credit function and oversee risk management across a sophisticated commercial real estate lending portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead credit assessment and decision-making across complex property transactions.
- Provide independent oversight across structuring, underwriting and approvals.
- Oversee portfolio risk, concentration, stress testing and early-warning frameworks.
- Drive credit policy, governance and risk management standards.
- Lead or contribute to restructures, workouts and special situations.
- Partner with origination,



portfolio management and executive stakeholders.
- Present recommendations to senior governance forums.
- Lead and develop the credit and portfolio management capability.

About You You are a senior credit professional with deep expertise across commercial real estate, construction, development finance, private credit or structured lending.

You will bring:

- Strong credit risk, underwriting and portfolio management experience.
- Expertise across complex transaction structuring and documentation.
- Experience operating within delegated authority and credit committee environments.
- Sound judgement managing portfolio risk and challenged exposures.
- The ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead high-performing teams.
- Strong knowledge of Australian commercial real estate markets.

Most importantly, you bring the credibility, judgement and independence to make difficult credit decisions while balancing risk and commercial outcomes.

Remuneration A competitive executive package comprising base salary, superannuation and performance-based incentive will be offered commensurate with the seniority and experience of the successful candidate.
