About the Role
This is a full-time position based in Geebung, working 8am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday. The role supports our internal service workshops for gas detection and electrical calibration technicians and is client-facing, responsible for sending quotes, receiving purchase orders, and liaising with suppliers about pricing and availability of parts.
As part of a small internal sales and customer service team, you will also answer phones and manage the front counter. We do not expect prior product knowledge due to our specialised business—this role is ideal for someone with strong administrative experience and confidence in phone and face-to-face client interactions.
We are seeking a motivated individual who is looking to progress into a team leader position for a small team (2-4) within the next 6–12 months.

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Counter and phone sales across multiple product ranges, including internal servicing
- Processing orders and sales/service transactions
- Supporting the external sales team
- General administration, customer support, and housekeeping (including OH&S;)
Qualifications & Experience
- Quick learner, able to absorb and apply product knowledge to customer needs
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook, accounting software (MYOB or similar), and prior database management experience
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced workplace with effective time management, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in the service industry highly regarded
- Willingness to assist with tasks outside of the core role—flexibility is essential in our small team
- Interest in career progression and stepping into a team leader role within 6–12 months
