Support Worker - Bayside and Surround Area (Inactive Sleepovers available)

Morcare Services are looking for support workers to join the team and work for our clients based in Black Rock, Parkdale, Caulfield, and Surrounding Suburbs!

Shift Locations: Black Rock, Parkdale, Caulfieldand Surrounding Areas

Shift Times:We have a variety of weekday and weekend shifts to suit most availabilities in the above mentioned suburbs and within a 20-30 minutes drive.

We also have a client in Caulfield that requires assistance with an Inactive Sleepover from 5pm on a Thursday to 9am on a Friday.

As a Support Worker with Morcare, you will assist clients with the following tasks:

- Community Access - assisting clients out in the community such as Shopping assistance, going to the Cafe, Gym Programs, Hydrotherapy and day programs
- Domestic duties - maintaining household cleanliness, vacuuming, mopping and laundry.




- Personal care activities including showering, dressing andtoileting
- Supporting clients within their own homes and out in the community
- Meal assistance and preparation.

Qualifications:

A Certificate III (or above) in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or similar is preferred butnotrequired. We consider transferable skills and personal experience as part of your application.

Your Requirements:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance(or willingness to obtain)
- Current and valid Level 2 First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certificates
- Qualification such as a Certificate III or IV in Disability or Aged Care or equivalent industry related experience (preferred but not required)
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- A smartphone compatible to download our rostering app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Your own vehicle and full comprehensive car insurance
- International Police Check Certificate (or willingness to obtain) if you have lived overseas for more than 12 months within the last 10 years
- Proof of work entitlement (if applicable)
- Provide at least two professional employment references
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Reliable and Punctual
- Caring nature and ability to understand clients and their needs
