The Role:

Love the fast-paced world of conferences and events? Amora Hotel Adelaide is seeking a passionate Food & Beverage Team Leader to deliver exceptional conferences and events.

This hands-on role will support the delivery of exceptional meetings, conferences, and events while leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and coordinate the smooth delivery of conferences, meetings, corporate events, and special functions.
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences by providing professional, attentive, and personalized service.
- Supervise and support the Food & Beverage team during event and conference service.
- Liaise with clients and internal departments to ensure event requirements are executed seamlessly.
- Oversee event set-up, room presentation, audio-visual readiness, and operational standards.
- Monitor service quality, cleanliness, and presentation across all event and conference spaces.
- Train, coach, and motivate team members to deliver consistent service excellence.
- Proactively resolve guest enquiries and event-related issues in a professional manner.




- Drive up selling opportunities and maximize revenue across conferencing and event operations.
- Ensure compliance with RSA, Food Safety, and Workplace Health & Safety requirements.

Skills and Experience

- Previous experience in Food & Beverage, Events, Conferencing, or Banquet operations.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Strong communication skills with a high level of written and spoken English.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- High standards of personal presentation and professionalism.
- Sound computer skills and experience using hospitality systems.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Ability to work a flexible roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Desirable

- Experience in a similar Food & Beverage, Events, or Conferencing leadership role.
- Previous experience in a hotel or premium hospitality setting.
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve guest concerns.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
