Your new role:

Join the Food Services team at Bayside Health Service and play an important role in delivering safe, high-quality meals and a positive service experience to patients, staff and visitors. Working as part of a supportive team, you will contribute to the smooth operation of patient meal services, retail and other food service areas.

You will

Prepare, assemble and distribute meals and beverages accurately and efficiently, following menus, recipes, work instructions and patient meal requirements.

Provide friendly, respectful and caring service to patients, staff and visitors, including ensuring the correct meals are delivered to the correct patients.

Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness, while following allergen management, infection prevention and workplace safety requirements.

Work flexibly across wards, kitchen, retail outlets and other Food Services areas, using equipment, technology and established processes to support effective daily operations.

You have

Demonstrated ability to follow procedures and safely undertake food preparation, meal assembly, cleaning, stock handling and basic record keeping.

A strong customer and patient focus, with the ability to communicate respectfully, clearly and professionally with patients, staff and visitors.

Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team environment, manage time well and complete tasks consistently to a high standard.

Flexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to work across different Food Services areas and respond to changing service needs and operational priorities.
