We are currently seeking Forklift/Machine Operators to join a busy steel manufacturing operation in Novar Gardens.
This is a hands-on role working with steel products and production machinery. You will be part of a team responsible for safely processing and preparing steel products for customers across the building and construction industry.
The Role
- Operating steel bending, coiling and cutting machinery
- Splitting and processing steel coils
- Operating forklifts for loading, unloading and material handling
- Assisting with general production and manufacturing activities
- Following production processes and workplace safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or machine operating environment
- Experience working with steel or metal products will be highly regarded
- Current LF Forklift Licence
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety
- Solid reliability and work ethic
- Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team
- Physically capable of working in a hands-on manufacturing environment
- Willingness to learn new machinery and processes
- Availability for afternoon or night shift
