Ascot Early Childhood is a boutique, family-owned centre in a restored Queenslander in Ascot. We care for 49 children across 3 rooms; we have been part of this community for 25 years, and we are rated Exceeding. Our programme is inspired by Reggio Emilia, and we keep investing in the rooms and the garden so the spaces stay fresh. We are small enough that everyone here knows everyone, and families describe us as their home away from home.

We are looking for an Educator to join us 5 days a week. The person we have in mind is someone families warm to quickly. You stop for a proper chat at pick-up, remember the small things about each child, and make every child in your room feel safe and settled with you.

You are confident leading a room, and the educators working alongside you are better for it. You would rather build a programme around what the children are curious about than run the same activities on rotation, so you plan inquiry-based work with natural materials, treat the workplace as the third teacher, and document learning in a way that means something to the children and their families.

1:4 in Toddlers (15 months to 2.5 years), 1:5 in Pre-Kindy (2.5 to 3.5 years) and 1:7 in Kindergarten (3.5 to 5 years)

You will need

- A Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, or to be working towards one
- A current Blue Card
- First Aid & CPR
