Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Gardener role based in Modbury North, SA. The Gardener will carry out day-to-day garden maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, pruning, weeding, mulching, and general plant care.

Responsibilities include maintaining lawns and landscaped areas, assisting with soft landscaping projects, and ensuring outdoor spaces are clean, safe, and well-presented. The role may involve installing and checking basic irrigation systems, planting and transplanting shrubs or seasonal plants, and supporting straightforward garden design improvements as directed. The Gardener will interact with clients on-site,



follow scheduled work plans, use tools and equipment safely, and maintain a tidy work area at all times.

Qualifications

- Strong practical skills in Landscape Maintenance and Landscaping, with the ability to care for lawns, garden beds, and outdoor spaces.
- Hands-on experience in Gardening, including plant care, pruning, weeding, and seasonal garden upkeep.
- Knowledge of Irrigation systems, including basic installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of watering schedules.
- Understanding of Garden Design principles to support layout improvements, plant selection, and overall garden aesthetics.
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work, including lifting, bending, and operating garden tools and machinery safely.
- Good time-management skills, reliability, and the capacity to work independently or as part of a small team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high presentation standards for client properties.
- Relevant experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture; formal training or certification in horticulture is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transport to reach sites in Modbury North and surrounding suburbs.
