General Labourer - Civil Construction & Maintenance

We are partnering with a well-established organisation responsible for delivering essential civil construction and maintenance services. Due to ongoing demand, multiple opportunities are available for motivated and reliable General Labourers to join their team.

These positions offer the opportunity to work across a variety of civil maintenance projects in a supportive, safety-focused environment.

Your new role

As a General Labourer, you will assist with the delivery of civil construction and maintenance works across roads, footpaths and infrastructure. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality workmanship.

Key responsibilities include:

- Road and footpath maintenance works

- Brick paving and base preparation

- Asphalt patching and maintenance activities

- Excavation and general civil labouring duties

- Loading and unloading equipment and materials

- Assisting with measurements and material calculations

- Operating around construction plant and machinery

- Site clean-up and maintaining safe work areas

- Completing basic administrative and job documentation

- Following all WHS policies and safe work procedures





What you'll need to succeed:

- Demonstrated experience within civil construction, infrastructure maintenance or labouring environments

- Current White Card

- Current MR Licence

- Strong understanding of safe work practices

- Ability to undertake physically demanding outdoor work

- Positive attitude and strong work ethic

- Ability to work independently and within a team environment

- Experience using mobile technology and completing basic documentation

Highly regarded:

- Work Zone Traffic Management Ticket (Desirable)

- Certificate III in Civil Construction (Desirable)

- HR Licence

- Excavator Ticket (LE) (Desirable)

- Skid Steer Ticket (LS) (Desirable)

- Roller Ticket (LL) (Desirable)

- Forklift Licence (LF) (Desirable)
