Kia Australia is seeking an experienced and commercially astute General Manager - Parts to lead the strategic direction, performance, and growth of our national Parts, Warranty and Aftersales Analytics functions.
This is a highly influential leadership role responsible for driving commercial success across the aftersales business while ensuring operational excellence, customer retention, dealer engagement, and long-term growth. Reporting to the Director of After Sales, you will play a critical role in shaping aftersales strategy and delivering exceptional outcomes across Kia's dealer network.
About the Role
As General Manager of Parts, you will lead a high-performing team and oversee the national Parts & Accessories business, Warranty Operations, and Aftersales Analytics. You will leverage data-driven insights, industry expertise and solid stakeholder relationships to maximise profitability, improve customer experience, and strengthen dealer performance. Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Commercial Leadership
- Develop and execute Parts, Warranty and Aftersales strategies aligned with Kia Australia's business objectives.
- Lead annual business planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management activities.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, market share and customer retention across the aftersales business.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, operational improvement and digital transformation.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on market trends, customer behaviour and business performance.
Parts & Supply Chain Leadership
- Lead the national Parts & Accessories function, ensuring strong commercial and operational performance.
- Oversee pricing, inventory management, logistics, distribution and supply chain strategies.
- Optimise inventory availability and service levels across the dealer network.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and profitability.
Warranty Operations & Governance
- Lead warranty operations, compliance and governance frameworks.
- Monitor warranty performance, emerging risks and product quality trends.
- Partner with OEM, dealer and internal stakeholders on recalls, campaigns and warranty initiatives.
- Ensure strong cost control while maintaining exceptional customer outcomes.
Aftersales Analytics & Performance
- Lead reporting, analytics and business intelligence activities across the Aftersales division.
- Develop meaningful insights that improve decision-making and commercial performance.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators across Parts, Warranty, Customer Experience and Dealer Operations.
- Utilise data to identify growth opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing national team.
- Build strong relationships across Kia's dealer network, OEM stakeholders, suppliers and internal departments.
- Act as the senior escalation point for critical dealer, customer and operational matters.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation and customer focus.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Marketing or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years' experience within automotive Parts & Accessories, Aftersales, Supply Chain or Distribution leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success managing a commercially focused business with full P&L; accountability.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts distribution, dealer operations, warranty management and aftersales performance drivers.
- Proven experience leading strategic initiatives, business transformation and organisational growth.
- Strong analytical capability with experience leveraging data and insights to drive business outcomes.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership skills.
