Graduate Engineer within the project team located in the Perth office. The position is suited to a recent graduate with an interest in reliability and maintenance engineering, keen to apply their technical fundamentals and build their skills in a collaborative team environment. The project team interprets and analyses maintenance outputs within IronMan® to identify real improvement opportunities for clients.
Key responsibilities
- Reviewing IronMan® outputs for engineering reasonableness, using asset and failure-mode knowledge to sense-check results and flag anomalies to the software team.
- Apply engineering fundamentals to interpret outputs across a range of asset classes and client challenges.
- Helping clients identify maintenance improvements using outputs of IronMan®.
- Understand how all aspects of IronMan® work, including value drivers so that all other responsibilities are approached with this context.
- Understand the domain of maintenance within the client base.
- Attend client meetings as required, discuss existing and new functionality while also understanding new requests or issuing feedback to scope for resolution.
- Support client builds and deployments, checking that outputs make engineering sense for the asset classes involved.
- Train new users.
- Learn and apply coding (e.g. Python, SQL) to automate data checks, analysis and data workflows.
About you
- Enjoy applying engineering fundamentals to real-world problems,
with a keen eye for detail.
- Comfortable using Excel and everyday engineering tools to support analysis; exposure to Python or SQL is a bonus, not a requirement.
- Keen to learn coding and interested in data automation – no prior experience needed, as you'll build these skills on the job as part of your day-to-day work.
- Studying towards or recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a related science discipline.
