As we continue to grow our Groups, Conferences and Events business, we are seeking a motivated and organised Groups & Events Sales Executive to join our team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Groups & Events Sales Executive is responsible for responding to and converting conference, events, and group accommodation enquiries while supporting the hotel's overall revenue objectives. You will manage enquiries from initial contact through to confirmation, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for every client.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building client relationships, and has a keen eye for detail.

Your day-to-day will include:

- Responding to conference, event and group accommodation enquiries
- Preparing proposals, quotations, and tailored event packages
- Following up leads and converting opportunities into confirmed business
- Coordinating meetings, conferences, corporate events, and group bookings
- Managing room blocks, rooming lists, and special guest requirements
- Liaising with operational teams to ensure seamless event delivery
- Preparing event orders, run sheets, and supporting documentation
- Following up deposits, payments, and event billing requirements
- Maintaining accurate client records and sales activity within hotel systems
- Supporting client site inspections and selected on-property events
- Assisting with sales reporting, pipeline tracking,



and conversion reporting

About You
- Previous experience in hotel sales, events, reservations, or hospitality preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities simultaneously
- Proactive, results-driven, and customer-focused
- Qualified presentation and a positive attitude
- Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Passion for delivering exceptional guest and client experiences
