Who in the Zoo is partnering with an established and ambitious consumer business to appoint a Head of Marketing & Growth to join its senior leadership team and play a key role in shaping the next phase of growth.

This is a highly visible leadership position for a commercially minded marketer who wants more than ownership of a marketing function.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence broader business strategy, work closely with the founders and leadership team, and build towards a significantly broader commercial leadership remit over time.

The Opportunity

This role will lead the marketing and growth agenda across the business, with responsibility for driving brand growth, customer acquisition, digital performance, eCommerce, retention and commercial outcomes.

You will be part of the senior leadership team , contributing not only to marketing strategy, but to wider conversations around growth, customer, channel strategy, investment and the future direction of the business.

You will have the autonomy to assess where the biggest opportunities sit, develop the strategy, build the right structure and lead the team to deliver against ambitious growth objectives.

Key responsibilities will include

- Developing and leading the overarching marketing and growth strategy.
- Driving customer acquisition, retention and lifetime value.
- Leading digital, eCommerce, CRM and performance marketing strategy.
- Owning brand positioning, communications and go-to-market activity.
- Identifying current growth opportunities across customers, channels and markets.
- Using data and commercial insights to guide investment and decision-making.




- Driving greater commercial accountability across marketing activity.
- Leading, mentoring and developing the marketing and digital team.
- Working closely with the founders and senior leadership team on broader business strategy.
- Building the capability, systems and structure required to support future scale.
- Playing an increasingly broader role across the organisation as the position develops.

About You

You will be an experienced senior marketing, growth or commercial leader with a strong background in consumer-facing businesses.

You are likely to have worked within sectors such as retail, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, eCommerce, customer-led environment .

You will combine strong brand instincts with commercial and digital capability and understand how to translate customer engagement into sustainable revenue growth.





You will bring

- Significant senior leadership experience across marketing, growth or commercial functions.
- Strong commercial acumen and a clear understanding of revenue, margin and return on investment.
- Deep experience across digital, eCommerce, CRM, acquisition and retention.
- Strong brand strategy and customer positioning capability.
- A data-led approach to decision-making.
- Experience building, leading and developing high-performing teams.

- The ability to move comfortably between strategy and execution.
