The Receptionist is the first point of contact for clients, visitors, suppliers and staff.
The role is responsible for providing a professional, welcoming and efficient reception service, supporting day-to-day office administration, and helping ensure enquiries and appointments are handled promptly and accurately.
Key responsibilities
Welcome clients, visitors, suppliers and staff and provide transparent assistance on arrival
Answer incoming phone calls, take accurate messages and direct enquiries to the appropriate person or department
Manage visitor sign-in processes and ensure reception areas are tidy, safe and professionally presented
Coordinate meeting room bookings, appointments and visitor requirements
Receive and distribute incoming mail, deliveries and courier items
Monitor general email inboxes where required and direct enquiries appropriately
Maintain accurate records of messages, bookings and visitor information
Collect and collate tax invoices and enter corporate credit card transactions
Ensure complete records are entered into the company CRM and maintain accurate data
Support office presentation by keeping reception, meeting rooms and shared areas organised
About you
Certificate III or IV in Business Administration, Customer Service or a related field is desirable
Current driver's licence is desirable
Previous experience in a receptionist, customer service, administration or front-desk role is desirable
Experience using phone systems, email, Microsoft Office and general business systems
Professional, friendly and confident communication style
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy front-office environment
Reliable, punctual and well presented
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
