Auriga Aviation is seeking a suitably qualified HMPT Captain and Training and Checking Pilot to join our Flight Operations team in Port Hedland. The role is touring to Port Hedland, WA.

We are seeking a Training and Checking Captain who demonstrates an exceptional commitment to safety and operational excellence, coupled with a collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate clearly and lead effectively.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct training and checking duties to support crew development in the delivery of HMPT services
- Act as a Captain for H135 HMPT operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
- Conduct marine pilot transfers and various aerial work operations with a focus on safety and professionalism on an equal-time roster.
- Collaborate with our passionate team to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
- Engage in continuous training and development to enhance your skills and advance your career.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

- Current CASA Class 1 Medical Certificate
- 2000 hrs Total Time Helicopter
- 1000 hrs PIC Helicopter
- 100 hrs EC135
- Instrument Rating MEH with 2D/3D endorsements

- NVIS Rating




- 50 hours NVIS flight time
- Flight Instructor Rating Grade 2 or Grade 1
- Training Endorsements for IF and NVIS

Desired Qualifications:

- Current HUET, DG Awareness

- Previous maritime/overwater experience

- Flight Examiner Rating
- Previous CASR Part 133/138 TCS Training and Checking Experience
