FULL TIME – Armidale

Are you of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent?

Do you already live in the Armdidale district or looking for a tree change away from the hustle of the city?

Do you possess formal qualifications in health, welfare, social work or related area at a TAFE level (Certificate IV minimum) or above and/or have substantial experience in any of these areas?

Do you have to ability to lead and support a team of Case Workers?

Would you like to become part of a excellent team providing culturally appropriate primary health care services to Aboriginal people and communities living in Armidale and surrounding districts*?*

- Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent*.
- Demonstrated experience working in, and/or understanding of issues impacting homelessness
- Previous experience working with community controlled organisations, Aboriginal clients and capacity to communicate with Aboriginal communities and services.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in the use of computer software applications for word processing, internet and e-mail.
- Self-motivation and the capacity to work with minimal supervision.
- Current unrestricted Driver’s license
- Current Working with Children’s Check and National Police Check or willingness to acquire

Desirable:

- Networking and referral experience
