Terry’s Karaoke & Piano Bar is growing our team and we’re currently hiring for two positions:

Host

Bartender

We’re looking for friendly, reliable people who enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced hospitality environment.

? HOST

Our Hosts will look after our private karaoke room guests from arrival through to the end of their booking.

THE ROLE

- Welcome and check in guests
- Take groups to their karaoke rooms and explain how everything works
- Take and deliver food and drink orders
- Check in with guests throughout their booking
- Assist with karaoke equipment and guest requests
- Manage room changeovers and booking times
- Set up, clear, clean and reset karaoke rooms
- Collect and clean glassware
- Keep guest areas clean and organised
- Assist the bar and wider team when required

ABOUT YOU

- Must hold a current Victorian RSA
- Friendly, outgoing and confident with people
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Organised and able to work in a busy workplace
- Reliable, punctual and willing to get stuck in
- Available Friday and Saturday nights
- Previous hospitality experience preferred

? BARTENDER

We’re looking for an experienced Bartender who is confident with cocktails and comfortable working in a busy bar.

THE ROLE

- Prepare cocktails, spirits, wine, beer and other drinks
- Provide fast and friendly bar service
- Operate beer taps and change kegs
- Keep the bar stocked, clean and organised
- Replenish fridges and monitor stock levels
- Assist with ordering and stock management




- Receive and organise deliveries
- Complete bar opening and closing duties
- Process orders through our POS
- Follow responsible service requirements
- Work closely with our Venue Hosts to service karaoke rooms

ABOUT YOU

- Must hold a current Victorian RSA
- Previous bartending experience
- Cocktail-making experience and knowledge
- Confident with beer taps and changing kegs
- Fast, organised and comfortable under pressure
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliable and available Friday and Saturday nights

Experience with stock control, ordering or bar management is highly regarded.

? Location: Rye, Mornington Peninsula

? Shifts: Primarily Friday & Saturday evenings, with additional shifts available for functions, events and peak periods.
