We are a well-established and reputable Boutique Motel located in North Adelaide. We provide award winning customer service and outstanding housekeeping standards. Our customer base includes corporate, government and leisure travellers. We are seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to join our team who is reliable, hardworking and friendly with a minimum of 1 years experience within the Hotel & Accommodation Tourism Industry.

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities. Your efforts will directly contribute to creating a positive experience for our guests. You will work alongside a supportive team and be expected to perform the following duties:

Key Responsibilities:

- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including changing linens, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing supplies.
- Ensure all guest bathrooms are thoroughly cleaned and stocked with necessary toiletries.
- Clean and sanitize kitchenette and replenish mini bar items.
- Maintain public areas such as vending machine room, laundry, room entrances and stairwells.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to the Duty Manager promptly.
- Assist in the restocking of housekeeping carts, cleaning supplies and linen.




- Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously.
- Follow all company and safety procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Ensure rooms are ready for check-in and meet the cleanliness standards set by the hotel/motel.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of guest information.

Qualifications:

- Applications will only be considered if the applicant demonstrates a minimum of 1 years housekeeping experience within the hospitality tourism industry.
- Must have their own ABN.
- Good communication skills, be fluent in English with a friendly, professional demeanour.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional standard of cleaning and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift, bend, and carry cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule during business hours, including weekends and public holidays. This position averages 5 days per week over a 7-day rotating roster.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and punctuality are essential.
- Applicants must exhibit a high standard of personal presentation.
- Applicants must be trustworthy and a police clearance would be preferred.
