The company:

Our client is a large, established international organisation with operations across multiple markets and a diverse employee population.

With a number of important people and workplace safety initiatives underway, the organisation is investing in strengthening its WHS framework, psychosocial risk management and broader employee safety practices.

This is an opportunity to join at an key point in that journey and take ownership of a substantial project with visible impact across the organisation.

The role:

- Lead the end-to-end uplift of the organisation's WHS framework, translating policy and legislative requirements into practical processes, accountabilities and controls.
- Establish and embed robust approaches to psychosocial risk, including assessing workplace risks, identifying control gaps and developing a practical implementation roadmap.
- Review and strengthen WHS practices across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, including jurisdictional compliance, incident management, consultation and reporting requirements.
- Establish foundational WHS processes covering risk assessments, hazard reporting, contractor management, emergency response, first aid, training and worker consultation.
- Partner with leaders to address priority psychosocial risks including workload, organisational change, bullying, harassment and fatigue, ensuring appropriate controls are implemented and monitored.
- Develop WHS governance, reporting and assurance frameworks, including risk registers, performance reporting, inspections, corrective actions and ongoing review.
- Strengthen workers compensation,



injury management and return-to-work processes, working closely with relevant internal stakeholders and external providers.
- Provide practical, credible HR advice throughout the project and ensure the frameworks developed are sustainable, well understood and embedded into day-to-day operations.

About you:

- Strong HRBP experience with a solid understanding of WHS, psychosocial risk and Australian employment legislation.
- Demonstrated experience leading WHS, psychosocial risk, compliance or broader people-risk projects within a complex organisation.
- Confident working across multiple jurisdictions and interpreting legislation into practical policies, processes and controls.
- Strong knowledge of psychosocial hazards and experience developing or implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Comfortable partnering with senior leaders and influencing stakeholders to improve workplace safety and employee outcomes.
- Highly organised and pragmatic, with the ability to assess a current state, identify gaps and drive a structured implementation plan.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to manage sensitive issues involving employee wellbeing, workplace behaviour and organisational risk.




- Relevant WHS qualifications or formal training would be highly regarded.
