Purpose of the Position
As a highly motivated HR Executive, you will be part of the corporate team based in Sydney CBD, supporting HR functions across Australia and New Zealand. You will be exposed to various areas of HR activities, in particular recruitment, within the luxury retail industry, and have the opportunity to perform hands-on HR operations.
With a strong focus on recruitment and talent, you will take responsibility for the recruitment function in collaboration with the Senior HR Manager.
This opportunity offers a great sense of challenge to an experienced and motivated HR Coordinator looking to work in a friendly, fast-paced and growing environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- End-to-end recruitment activity, maintaining a strong talent pipeline for both Corporate & Retail team using recruitment platforms such as SEEK, SEEK Talent Search, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- HRIS management and data entry.
- Onboarding and offboarding, conduct First Day HR Inductions with new team members
- Collaborate with IT departments for new starter tools
- Providing support and advice to team members in relations to HR matters
- Update and maintain employee records
- Good understanding of Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Handling OH&S; and workers compensation as required
- Preparation of various HR related reporting
- Back up payroll processing
- General administrative duties
- Assisting the Senior HR Manager and General Management team with ad-hoc duties
Knowledge Required
- Tertiary Qualification/s in Human resources management are desirable
- Human Resources experience in a similar environment, retail recruitment experience highly regarded (Agency or In-House).
- Understanding of the luxury retail environment.
- Demonstrated experience providing HR support and coordination
- Working knowledge of HR practices
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to engage and build solid working relationships with key stakeholders
- High attention to detail
- High degree of organisational skills and the ability to multitask
- Team player and willingness to assist others
- Ability to work 5 days on site.
