We are seeking a motivated and passionate Hub Practitioner Orange Door to join ourFamily Safetyteam on a 12 month full-time contract (Parental Leave Backfill). About the Role
As the Hub Practitioner Orange Door, you will:
- Support individuals and families impacted by family violence and child wellbeing concerns
- Conduct risk assessments and develop tailored support plans
- Coordinate referrals and connect clients with essential services
- Advocate for client safety, wellbeing and positive outcomes
- Build strong relationships with clients and partner agencies

This role can involve emotionally demanding situations and exposure to psychological hazards, including client distress, trauma disclosures, and urgent responses. MASP prioritises staff wellbeing by providing supervision, debriefing, reflective practice, safety measures, and access to wellbeing resources. We encourage open communication—raise any concerns with your supervisor, management, or the OHS Committee as soon as possible.
Remuneration
Expected commencing salary of $95,057.01 per annum plus statutory superannuation.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor of Social Work, or an equivalent/relevant qualification or experience recognised under Recommendation 209 of the Royal Commission into Family Violence
- Experience conducting risk assessments and managing complex family violence and child wellbeing cases
- Experience engaging and working effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Knowledge of child and adolescent development, attachment, separation, loss, grief and family complexity
- Sound knowledge of family violence risk assessment, safety planning and intervention frameworks, including MARAM
- Working knowledge of the Children,
Youth & Families Act 2005 and related legislation governing privacy, information sharing and family violence practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to MASP's values and client-centred approach
