Role Description The Institutional Dealer is a full time, on-site role located in Perth, WA. The position is responsible for executing equity and related securities orders for institutional clients, managing trade flows, and ensuring best execution within market, regulatory, and internal risk parameters. Day-to-day activities include monitoring markets and sector news, maintaining order books, liaising with institutional investors and providing investment and trading ideas.

The Institutional

Dealer will collaborate closely with corporate advisory teams to support capital raisings, block trades, while maintaining accurate trade records and reporting. The role also involves contributing to client relationship management through responsive communication,



proactive idea generation, and adherence to compliance and conduct standards.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of equity markets, particularly in resources, energy, and industrial small to mid-cap sectors, with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
- Experience in institutional dealing, trading, or brokerage, including order execution, trade booking, and familiarity with trading platforms and market microstructure.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management, and compliance frameworks relevant to institutional trading and financial advisory activities.
- Advanced analytical and numerical skills, with proficiency in financial analysis tools, spreadsheets, and market information systems.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with institutional clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, market-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; relevant market qualifications or certifications are an advantage.
- Demonstrated integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to a client-first, non-discriminatory professional culture.
