The Project
Join a large scale technology delivery environment supporting the planning and execution of multiple digital and business transformation initiatives. Working within a collaborative project team, the IT Project Scheduler will be responsible for maintaining project schedules, managing dependencies, and providing clear visibility of delivery progress across a portfolio of technology projects. Please note this role is based in Perth, WA and cannot be performed remotely.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage integrated project schedules across multiple IT projects and workstreams.
- Coordinate timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource schedules with project managers and delivery teams.
- Monitor schedule performance and provide regular reporting on project progress, risks, and forecast completion dates.
- Identify scheduling conflicts, critical path impacts, and resource constraints, recommending mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate planning sessions, schedule reviews, and project governance activities.
- Ensure schedule data remains accurate, up to date, and aligned with project controls and reporting requirements.
- Support portfolio planning, forecasting, and delivery reporting activities as required.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an IT Scheduler, Project Scheduler,
or Project Controls professional within a technology environment.
- Strong experience developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar scheduling tools.
- Understanding of project delivery methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
- Ability to manage complex schedules involving multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and concurrent initiatives.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Experience working within large, complex organisations is highly desirable.
- Relevant project management, scheduling, or project controls certifications will be well regarded.
