Temporary, for a period of up to 12 months with possibility of ongoing

$128,732 p.a. Package includes salary ($102,936 - $113,579 p.a.), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

About us The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) is the independent prosecuting authority responsible for the prosecution of all serious indictable offences committed against the laws of New South Wales. We are an agency of over 1100 staff, working throughout NSW to service the main court centres. Our 10 offices have a mix of Crown Prosecutors, Solicitor Advocates, Solicitors and support staff.

The Role An exciting opportunity exists to assist users by developing and delivering technical training for existing and developing applications. Key to this will be identifying key pain points for users and targeting training in these areas. This role will attend all offices, as required to understand the needs of users and ensure training is appropriate for each location. This role will provide an opportunity to explore and develop a variety of training options for all users.

The Legal Support

Officer (Technical Trainer) will work with various IT project teams, the L&D; Team and consult/train widely across the ODPP at all levels.

This role may be performed from any ODPP office location, pending availability of accommodation and requirements.

This role will:

- Collaborate with project teams, SMEs, application developers and other IT or business stakeholders to identify the training needs and change management materials required for new and evolving technologies.
- Design and create instructional materials, including training guides, videos, presentations, and e-learning modules.
- Participate in application testing throughout the development lifecycle to aid in the development of relevant related training materials.
- Facilitate specialised training sessions, develop training artefacts and provide support to enable other people to conduct presentations.
- Assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issues related to training topics.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- High level computer literacy, including proficient use of Nitro,



MS360 applications and an ability to become proficient in ODPP developed technologies.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with energy, assertiveness and proven ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders effectively.

About you

- Relevant qualification in Training & Development or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the use of software such as Camtasia, Articulate, Snagit and Synthesia.

Interviews The interview process will be conducted virtually, and no travel will be required. The interview process will include capability-based assessments which may require your time and presence on more than one day.
