Kitchen & Front of House Staff

We’re opening a new dumpling restaurant in Mornington and recruiting our opening team.

Positions available

- Kitchen team: 2 part-time and 2 casual positions.
- Front of house: 2part-time and 2 casual position.

Previous kitchen, restaurant, café or customer-service experience is preferred. TAFE cookery or kitchen operations study is highly regarded for kitchen applicants. Chef qualifications and Chinese language skills are not required. Part time roles include 24 guaranteed hours per week. Casual hours vary with the roster and trade. Shifts cover lunch, dinner and weekends.

Opening is planned for mid-November 2026, with paid training in early November.

Pay — adult weekday rates

- Part-time: $27.50–$30/hour
- Casual: $34–$37/hour,



including 25% casual loading

Plus 12% superannuation and applicable penalty rates and allowances. Rates depend on duties, qualifications and Restaurant Industry Award classification. Location: Shop 2A / 55 Barkly Street, Mornington VIC 3931.
