About the Role
As a Lawyer within the Legal Service, you will provide legal advice, representation and advocacy across family violence, child protection, family law and victims of crime. You will work within a culturally safe, trauma-informed model alongside Paralegal Support Workers and a multidisciplinary team, while contributing to community outreach and legal education.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice, casework and court representation
- Deliver culturally safe, trauma-informed legal services
- Work collaboratively with Paralegal Support Workers and stakeholders
- Contribute to community legal education and outreach
- Maintain accurate case management, reporting and compliance
What You'll Bring
Essential
- Eligible to hold a practising certificate in Victoria
- Degree in Law
- Experience or solid interest in family violence or related areas
- Strong communication and client engagement skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities independently and collaboratively
Desirable
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Experience in family law, child protection or community legal settings
- Community legal education or outreach experience
