Augusta Lawn Care Darwin is growing, and we're looking for a motivated, reliable and energetic Lawn Care Technician to join our team.

You'll initially join us on a casual basis, with the opportunity to progress into permanent employment and greater responsibility as Augusta Lawn Care Darwin grows.

The position offers an hourly rate starting from $33 per hour plus superannuation, depending on experience, with the opportunity to earn $40+ per hour through our Pay for Performance structure, subject to applicable Award requirements.

Pay for Performance recognises people who deliver strong results through productivity, quality, efficiency, reliability and great customer service.

The better our team performs and the more value we create for our customers, the greater the opportunity for our people to progress and increase their earnings.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Augusta Lawn Care Technician, your work will include:

- Lawn mowing and edging
- Line trimming and blowing
- Hedge and shrub trimming
- Property and garden clean-ups
- Weed management
- Green-waste removal
- General lawn and garden maintenance
- Safe operation and routine care of commercial lawn-care equipment
- Travelling between customer properties across Darwin and Palmerston
- Communicating professionally with customers
- Completing work efficiently and to Augusta's quality and safety standards

- Is physically capable of performing hands-on lawn and garden work

- Can follow systems and established work procedures
- Can work independently when required
- Looks after tools, vehicles and equipment
- Is willing to learn and improve
- Holds a current Australian driver's licence
- Has the legal right to work in Australia

Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, gardening, grounds maintenance or another hands-on outdoor role is highly regarded. However, attitude, reliability, work ethic and willingness to learn matter to us. For the right person, training can be provided.
